What’s missing in AI translation

I’m Jan-Willem de Bruijn, the translator behind Current Translations. Since 2019, I have been working as a freelance translator from English and Spanish into Dutch. Before that, I spent over three years at a translation agency as a translator, proofreader and assistant project manager. I bring that experience into my work every day: thorough, structured and with a strong eye for detail.
I am a sworn English–Dutch translator, registered with the Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators under number 21327, and a member of the NGTV (Dutch Association of Interpreters and Translators). Ongoing professional development is an integral part of my work. I have also completed specialised training in construction, further strengthening my specialisation in construction and real estate texts.
